“Be my girlfriend, dream girl?”…“I might have to start calling you dream guy.”

Wildcat is about Leo, a famous NHL hockey player, and Scarlett, the coaches daughter. When they first met she did not realize her was a famous hockey player, let along on her dads team. She learned her lesson from her last boyfriend who was famous and knew she wasn’t going to do it again, or she thought she did. Leo, never knew the girl who was working at the bar, not doing very well was going to be his “dream girl” and didn’t know it was coaches daughter.

“He’s loving having so many of the Wildcats in his bar. They’re good sports and sign everything he pushes in front of them. Leo even brought him a signed jersey, just like he promised. My boyfriend is a pretty great guy. His friends too.“

This is your typical hockey romance book, closed door romance, but still a good plot line. I fell in love with both the main characters and how their feelings changed throughout the book. It was a perfect “fluff” book in between the two harder books I was reading and a good palette cleanser.

“Your dad told me the story once, and I had a little help finding one that was similar.” He shrugs. “I know it isn’t as fancy as your other one, but I thought you could leave this one here. We can start our own photo book of memories.”
