“Love does make people helpless, but only because they willingly accept it. Because to love someone else means to trust them enough to not abuse the power they have over you.”

The Fine Print is a romance novel that focuses on Zahra and Rowan, one who is full of happiness and one who is the grumpiest! These two work together on creating and renovating Dreamland but has a few secrets along the way. Rowan has to fulfill has grandfather’s wishes that he had left when he pasted to be able to get his inheritance. That is where Zahra comes to play- she is going to become a creator, which is her dream job that will end up helping Rowan more than he knows. Throughout the book you will see Zahra change Rowan, from being on of the most demanding, grumpy bosses to a sweetheart who has a tough exterior who has the biggest heart.

“Don’t go wishing for things that can’t happen.” “That’s okay. I’ll dream big enough for the two of us.”

Lauren Asher writes a beautiful story, with character development that keeps you coming back for more. She knows how to give romance a little spice when needed, but also shows that love is not always how it is in fairytales.

“Because to be loved by him is to be cherished and protected unconditionally, and in a world like ours, it’s a gift. One I never knew I needed, but can’t imagine living without.”
