Hooked is a dark romance about Wendy and “Hook” and how their relationship changes throughout the book. Wendy’s father, Peter and James “Hook” do not get along and have a past, but Wendy is unaware of this when they meet. Everyone knows Peter due to being high in society, and so is James, but not for good reasons. Throughout the book you watch the relationship change between Wendy, Peter, James, and many other characters, as James and Wendy fall in love. This is a dark romance, thriller but is a spin off of the classic Peter Pan.

I loved this book- the plot, the characters, the spin off from Peter Pan and how much the writer encompassed the original story but with a twist. This was my first dark romance, and man did I learn, when there are trigger warnings, READ THEM. The violence and romance scenes were very….descriptive, but it still made for a good book. Easy to read, fun and kept me entertained the whole time.
